Guampedia, Guam’s online encyclopedia, is striving to help preserve and promote Guam’s history and culture and help educate children, residents and visitors alike; but we need your help.
Guampedia’s goal is to be self-sufficient, but at the moment we rely on donations, grants, and help from businesses and the government. Guampedia is a non-profit federally recognized charitable organization, under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code under section 170 of the Code. We are qualified as a public charity to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2544 of the Code. Our Employer Identification Number is 66-0721758 for your tax records.
By making a small donation to Guampedia, you will help us weather these tough times, and help us continue to produce great content about Guam and our culture, so that we can pass this on to the next generation, and share valuable information about our island to the world at large.
We believe this is a crucial mission. While we embrace the global community that has emerged from the rise of technology, we also believe it’s more important than ever to preserve our culture, to make our history and information about Guam’s unique and beautiful people available to everyone; from schoolchildren to adults, from local residents to newcomers to people living around the globe. Without efforts like this, this might all become lost, and we believe that would be a tragedy.
Help us help Guam’s culture survive. Help us keep our people informed and educated. Help us bring what is beautiful about Guam to the world’s attention.
