Chloe Batangan Babauta is a fourth-generation reporter at the Pacific Daily News. Babauta has a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She runs a relationship and self-love blog, Lovescrewed, and founded the feminist television and film online magazine, Heroine Addict.

Babauta is writing her first self-help e-Book on long distance relationships. She is the daughter of Donna Batangan Hattori and writer Leo Babauta, and the eldest granddaughter of Guampedia Managing Editor Shannon J. Murphy.
