Guampedia Author. Lawrence A. Reid holds an MA and a PhD in linguistics from the University of Hawai’i awarded in 1964 and 1966, respectively, as a grantee of the East-West Center in Honolulu.

Guampedia Author. Carlos Madrid Alvarez-Piñer, born in Spain in 1976, holds a PhD cum laude in Contemporary History from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

Guampedia Author. Bruce L. Campbell earned a BA in history from the University of Guam in 1984 and an MA in Micronesia history and economics from the Pacific Islands program at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa awarded in 1987.

Guampedia Author. Wakako Higuchi earned her PhD in Pacific and Asian history from The Australian National University, Canberra, Australia and an MA in Micronesian studies from the University of Guam. She also holds a BA in Oriental history from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan.

Guampedia Author. Vincent P. Diego earned a BA in biology from the University of Guam in 1995. He went on to earn his MA and PhD in biological anthropology from Binghamton University, State University of New York in 2001 and 2005, respectively.

Guampedia Author. Steven Amesbury earned a PhD in zoology from the University of Hawai’i and holds an MS in zoology and a BA in anthropology from the University of Arizona.

Guampedia Author. Sally Y. Tsuda earned an MSN and BSN in nursing from the University of Hawai’i in 1978 and 1963, respectively.

Guampedia Author. Roy T. Tsuda (1939-2020) earned a PhD in botany with a minor in zoology from University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee awarded in 1970. He also held an MS and BA in botany from the University of Hawai’i, awarded in 1966 and 1963, respectively.

Guampedia Author. Rosalind Hunter-Anderson earned a BA and an MA in anthropology from the University of California Los Angeles in 1969 and 1971, respectively. In 1980 she was awarded a PhD in anthropology, with an archaeology specialty, from the University of New Mexico.
