Guampedia Author. Joshua F. Tenorio is Lieutenant Governor of Guam. He has previously Vice President of Guam Autospot, served as Administrator of the, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, Chief of Staff and Senior Policy Advisor in the Guam Legislature, and Legislative Assistant in the US House of Representatives.

Guampedia author and former intern. Jesi Lujan Bennett is a Master’s candidate in the Center for Pacific Islands Studies at the University of Hawai’i (UH) at Mānoa. She graduated from the University of California, San Diego (USCD) with a BA in Ethnic Studies and a BA in Critical Gender Studies.

Guampedia Author. Anthony Crisostomo Blaz (1958 – 2016), son of Brigida Lujan Crisostomo (Familian Bejong-Capili) and Joaquin Garrido Blaz (Familian Dero) was born and raised on Guam.

Guampedia Author. Marilyn Dina Atoigue Manibusan is an indigenous political activist whose group, PARA-PADA, led a grass roots educational campaign resulting in the a proposed constitution for Guam being turned down by voters.

Guampedia Author. Jacqueline (“Jackie”) A. Marati is the eldest of the eight children of former Speaker Joaquin C. Arriola and former Senator Elizabeth P. Arriola.

Guampedia Author. Desiree Taimanglo-Ventura (Familian Alamåsac) is a full-time instructor of English and Communications within the English Department at the Guam Community College.

Guampedia Author. Samantha Marley Barnett is a native Chamoru from the island of Guam, and is actively involved in fighting for Guam’s future as a decolonized independent nation.

Guampedia Author. Frank Quimby studied history at LaSalle University (Philadelphia, PA) and the University of Hawai’i (East-West Center graduate fellowship), receiving an MA in Asian Studies in 1969.  He served in the Peace Corps (Philippines), worked as a teacher and journalist in Micronesia for more than a decade (1972-1984), was city editor of the Pacific Daily News and taught journalism at the University of Guam.

Guampedia Author. Faye Varias’ byline is a familiar sight throughout publications in Guam and Hawai’i. First published in 2000, she owns and operates Faye Varias Creative Services, a network of writers and photographers, providing media and marketing material for several business firms.

Guampedia Author. Omaira Brunal-Perry is an associate professor and the Spanish Legal Historiography and Librarian, Spanish Documents Collection and Manuscripts Collection at the Richard F. Taitano Micronesian Area Research Center, University of Guam. She holds a Juris Doctorate degree from University Libre of Bogota, Colombia and a Master’s of Library Science from Syracuse University, New York.
