Patricia Long Diego holds a bachelor of arts degree in speech communication with cum-laude honors and distinction from San Diego State University. She is a lifetime member of the Golden Key National Honor Society, San Diego State University chapter.

Diego is a full-time teacher. Prior to teaching, Diego served from 2002 through 2006 as a senior assistant to Governor Felix P. Camacho and chief of staff to First Lady Joann Camacho.

Among Diego’s distinctions include her selection as a honored recipient of Guam Legislative Resolution No. 239 for her outstanding efforts as Communications Manager of the Guam Power Authority and her selection as a “1990 Top Ten Supervisor of The Year” from the Government of Guam’s Executive Branch. Additionally, Diego was a recipient of a national second place “Award of Merit” for the production of the 1989 Guam Power Authority’s Annual Report from the American Public Power Association and a “1990 Excellence in Media” award from the Communications Art Guild of Guam.

Diego is active in the community serving as a member of the International Reading Association of Guam, and a volunteer parent-member of the Manukai Athletic Club. She also serves as a lector in her church parish. Diego is a native of Guam.
